Call of Duty 5: What You Need to Know
So here it is fans, everything you need to know about Call of Duty 5.
The new issue of OXM, that went on sale June 13th, contains a world exclusive preview of Call of Duty 5. OXM contained a five page preview including the first screenshots of Call Of Duty 5 along with quotes from Treyarch talking about the game and its’ design. We all have similar questions about the game, such as: Who is developing it? Where will the setting be? What will multiplayer be like? What if it turns out like Call of Duty 3? Luckily i have already read the preview and i am able to fill you in on all these details.
- Development- It is being developed by Treyarch just as expected.
- Setting- The setting will take place in WWII similar to Call of Duty 4. The difference is that it will contain new battles such as The Battle of the Pacific between America and Japan and European battles such as Berlin.
- Title- Will not be known as Call of Duty 5 but instead Call of Duty: World at War.
- Multiplayer- Treyarch will be adding to Call of Duty 4’s popular multiplayer rather than changing it. The main addition will be new vehicles and perks. It will also contain a new “leader system”, which will give you extra perks when sticking close to the team’s leader.
- Co-Op- Call of Duty: World at War will contain split screen co-op for two players along with four player co-op online.
- Weapons- Many of the weapons will be similar to Call of Duty 4. The main new addition is a flamethrower, used to set fire to grass and trees, flushing out Japanese soldiers waiting to ambush.
