New Nintendo DS Game Announcement: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Yesterday at Nintendo’s press conference in Hollywood , a brand new Nintendo DS GTA title was announced. The new GTA, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, will be for the Nintendo DS and will sport a brand new game engine along with brand new characters.
“This is a game that will deliver a rich, fast-paced and intense ‘Grand Theft Auto’ experience that will be truly unique to Nintendo’s handheld platform,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “Rockstar Leeds, along with the team at Rockstar North, has built upon a decade of progressive design on Grand Theft Auto, and has created something fundamentally fresh and immersive.”
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is an entirely new yet original type of entry into the GTA series. It’s going to bring an incredible amount of creativity into the sprawling open environments allowing a whole new level of interactivity. Players get to learn and play all new characters and story lines making the game extremely interesting and historical. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be available on the Nintendo DS in North America and Europe this winter.
